A few days ago we completed the upgrade of Support-Payments area which is provided to our clients. The upgraded application is now in 2.0.1 version after its creation almost a year ago. During the upgrade tasks we focused primarily in the functional part of the area, but without leaving the appearance part intact.

In terms of area's appearance

We have completed successfully small changes in the layout. We have added effects buttons depending on the function and also shades of coloring in the area in order to emphasize appropriately every page.

For our logged in users (our clients) the user menu in the upper part is shaped accordingly. Several changes have been completed in this section, with the most important being the receipt preview, personal data changes, the appearance of messages that have been sent through email and the application's receipts print view in PDF file.

All the above appearance changes can be spotted by any up-to-date browsers such as: Firefox 5+ , IE 9, Google Chrome 13+, Opera 10+ etc

In terms of the area's functionality

We emphasized in language strings by correcting a big part, we have added articles in the Knowledge database, separating them in different sections, we have optimized the source code and also tasks have been conducted in order to improve the loading speed of the area's pages, achieving 15% reduction in times.

Finally it is very important to inform you the addition of SSL security certificate, locking this way any "sensitive" data such personal data, access passwords, order procedure, sending electronic payments etc.
